HEALTH & SAFETY

TRAIN SAFE.
TRAIN STRONG.

We train hard here, but we train smart. Every drill, every sparring round, every class is run so kids can push themselves without getting hurt doing it.

Safety In Every Class

Every class is run by an instructor who's actually watching, not just calling directions from the side. If someone gets hurt or isn't feeling right, we stop training on the spot, treat what needs treating, and call home if it matters. Sparring always means full gear: headgear, chest guard, shin pads, every time, no exceptions.

We build water breaks into every class, and if a student needs a minute to catch their breath, that's completely fine. If your child has a fever, a cough, or just isn't feeling well, keep them home and let them rest. We'll pick up right where they left off once they're back. And on the mat, we hit pads, not each other, unless we're specifically running a supervised sparring round.

BEFORE YOU STEP ON THE MAT

MAT RULES & PREP

01

Leave the Jewelry at Home

Take off rings, watches, chains, earrings, and hair clips before you step on the mat. They snag and scratch during drills, and nobody wants that.

02

Trim Those Nails

Keep fingernails and toenails short. Long nails and partner drills just don't mix.

03

Wear Your Dobok

Come in a clean uniform or approved workout gear, and tie long hair back so it's out of your face.

04

Keep the Floor Clear

Water bottles, shoes, and bags belong in the cubbies, not on the mat. Keep the floor clear so everyone has room to train.

05

Freeze Means Freeze

When your instructor calls "freeze" or "stop," you stop right then, no exceptions. It's how we keep everyone safe.
